Kamala Harris challenges Donald Trump to a CNN debate in October

Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted an invitation from CNN to debate former President Donald Trump. The possible debate is scheduled for October 23.

“Vice President Harris is ready for another opportunity to share the stage with Donald Trump,” campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement (according to CNN). “Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to this debate.”

On Saturday, Harris posted further X/Twitter that she “will happily accept a second presidential debate” and hopes Trump will “join her.”
