Vice President Kamala Harris is pleading with voters for donations even after a major defeat in the 2024 presidential election against Donald Trump.
In just a few months, her campaign broke a record, raising more than $1 billion after announcing she would replace Joe Biden in the race for the White House, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

More than a week after the election wrapped, the campaign is still seeking more donations via email and text messages.
One of the text messages, reportedly sent on Tuesday, reads: “Hello team, it’s Kamala. The elections are not what we wanted, but I will never give up the fight.
“And right now, there are still a number of crucial races across the country that are either too close to call or within the margins of recounts or certain legal challenges.”

According to two campaign officials, the donation requests are intended for the Democratic National Committee to help with state recounts or to cure ballots.
The requests for donations, however, have raised questions as the record-breaking fundraising campaign raised more than $1 billion in less than four months after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race.

Harris gave her election speech on Wednesday after the big loss.

Many campaign officials have questioned the request for donations and suggested the money could be used to pay down the country’s massive debt burden.
A senior campaign official called it “terrible,” while another called it “disgusting.”

Users took to X to mock Harris for the request, even though she raised more than $1 billion.
One user wrote: “Are you kidding? SKamala Harris is asking for donations to fund a recount. Seriously?”
Another claimed: “Harris is sending me emails to help pay off her huge balance for her failed election. They are looking for money to pay off their debts to the celebrities who sold their souls to stand up for her steps.”
A third user claimed: “Kamala Harris wants a RESTORATION of the votes. What’s even more hilarious is that she’s asking for CAMPAIGN DONATIONS to do it. Could it be that she is simply fooling her supporters into trying to pay off the $20 million in debt she has incurred? ??!”
A fourth said: “Kamala Harris *still* emailed me today asking for donations.”

After Trump’s humiliating loss, a Democratic National Convention (DNC) official stated that the Harris campaign was $20 million in debt.
