Jumeirah Carlton Tower unveils a couture treat for Mother’s Day | News

This Mother’s Day, Jumeirah Carlton Tower invites guests to celebrate femininity, color and taste through a collaboration with Lebanese jewelry designer Nada Ghazal. For Ghazal, the collaboration has deep personal resonance, shaped by fond childhood memories of visiting the Carlton Tower in the 1980s with her parents. Today, as a long-standing member of the Knightsbridge community, her Pont Street boutique is just a three-minute walk away – making this creative return both meaningful and nostalgic.
Bringing together the art of fine pastry with the craftsmanship of contemporary jewelry design, the collaboration introduces a limited edition cake inspired by Ghazal’s ‘My Muse’ collection.
The bespoke cake, created by fellow Lebanese Martin Haidar, Executive Pastry Chef at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, reflects Ghazal’s signature aesthetic through sculptural shapes, architectural lines and a sense of modern femininity. Inspired by the visual tapestry of Beirut – stone-lined streets to intricate stained glass rosettes – the design is translated into an exquisite edible creation. On the palate, the flavors evoke the essence of the Lebanese spring. Notes of orange blossom and pistachio cream are layered with crunchy cashew filo, balancing texture and delicacy to create a refined sensory experience.

The cake will be available to purchase from Monday 9 March and will also be part of the hotel’s special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea, in the sun-drenched Garden Rooms on Sunday 15 March, offering a delicious way to celebrate the occasion.
For an element of surprise, one cake will include a golden ticket, with the lucky guest winning a bespoke Nada Ghazal jewelery worth £3,000, a timeless keepsake designed to be cherished for years to come.
Guests are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
