Julian Lennon launches ‘Love the Earth’ animation series at SXSW London

Julian Lennon makes his mark in the entertainment of children and reveals ‘Love the Earth’, a new animation series, in SXSW London.

The series is intended to combine indigenous stories with environmental activism for the young audience and is based on Lennon’s bestseller “Touch the Earth” book trilogy co -author of Bart Davis. Directed by Jean-Paul Mertinez and co-produced by Meena Khera, “Love the Earth” uses nature modeling, real-time animation, lush 3D environments and compelling sound design. The series is produced by Compassionate Studios in the UK, with executive producers, including Lennon, Davis, Lyndon Haviland, Rebecca Warfield and Forest Trends.

Screen rights were mediated by Erica Spellman Silverman for Robert Gottlieb on behalf of Trident Media Group.

After completion, “Love the Earth” will premiere on YouTube in premiere and itself as what the makers call “a new model of targeted, globally conscious children and entertainment of children and family”.

The series launched in a panel entitled ‘Love the Earth: Animation for Good’, which brings together a selection of employees, including High Commissioner of the United Nations for Human Rights Volker Türk, Mertinez and ‘Yellowstone’ actor Mo brings a lot.

“We not only tell stories – we feed earth heroes, one adventure at the same time,” said Lennon. “The earth needs lovingly. The children are the heart of that love.”

The launch started with a traditional American Indian Lakota singing of Bres Plenty, which serves as an indigenous adviser to the project.

One of the first confirmed voting cameras is Deepak Chopra, who surprised the public with a live performance of his character – a wise, endangered Indian tiger that guides children through breathing work and meditation. Sadie Frost and Raff Law are set to express a mother and son who travel through a foggy forest, while chef Suvir Saran will give his voice to a seriously endangered spoon-beaky sand buyer with a Michelin stars.

The series of spotlights of endangered species and fragile ecosystems while they center native voices and cultural traditions from all over the world. Every episode is based on real ecosystems and informed by authentic cultural teachings.

“All children deserve a healthy planet,” said Davis. “Our common humanity is our greatest birthright.”

In a strategic step to mix animation with reality, production gave an open global call for filmmakers, conservationists and environmental storytellers to submit Real-World images of nature, nature and community-based climate solutions for potential inclusion in the series.

The project has already secured its first major creative partnership with award -winning Indian conservationist and filmmaker Mike Pandey and Riverbank Studios.

After the panel, King Charles, during a surprise visit to SXSW London, Lennon, brought Plenty, Martinez and Türk.
