Julia Fox Reportedly Joining RHONY: ‘I Just Need to Shake It Up a Little’
Julia Vos thinks The Real Housewives of New York City needs a shake-up – and she’s the right person to do it.
The model and actress, 34, revealed Wednesday, January 22, at the Watch what happens live with Andy Cohen after the show that she would be joining the long-running Bravo franchise. She also wants another famous face to join her.
“You know what, I would do a season and see how it goes,” Fox told the host Andy Cohen when he asked if she would consider joining the cast. “I just need to shake it up a bit.”
The topic of conversation came up after Fox recommended Cohen, an executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise – convicted felon Anna Delvey on the NYC iteration.
‘I love her. She is an icon. She’s funny. She has a very dry sense of humor,” Fox complimented 34-year-old Delvey before having a sudden brainwave.
‘Put her on RHONY!” Fox enthusiastically told Cohen, before adding, “Put me on.” RHONY!”
The idea went well with my colleague WWHL guest Bronwyn Nieuwpoortone of the stars of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. “Chaos! Put them both down, please!” Nieuwpoort enthusiastic.
The current cast of RHONY includes Jenna Lyons, Ubah Hassan, Brynn Whitfield, Jessel Taank, Sai DeSilva, Erin Lichy And Racquel Chevremont.
During the season 15 finale on Tuesday, January 21, Brynn and Ubah became involved in an explosive fight that threatened to fracture the group. Brynn claimed that she privately revealed to Ubah that she had been sexually assaulted in the past, something Ubah denied knowing. The majority of their costars supported Ubah and accused Brynn of lying.
“Brynn, I love her, but she kind of lost me this season,” Fox said on Wednesday’s episode of WWHL. “She really is a little bit demonic,” she added about the season finale, while Cohen agreed that the episode was “very dark.”
In an interview with Rolling stone On Wednesday, Brynn stood by her version of events. “It’s not right to assume that everyone remembers everything you say all the time and then hold them accountable for that,” Brynn explained to the publication. “I’m sure I’ve said it, but if someone is yelling into the phone, the other person might not necessarily hear them. … I know what I said and I know I said it.”
If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, please contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673).
