JoJo Siwa’s boyfriend Chris Hughes says he plans to propose when least expected

JoJo Siwa and her husband Chris Hughes have clearly discussed the details of the engagement… because Hughes brought up a few details about a possible proposal.

The singer and beau gave The Sun an update on their relationship on Sunday … and the conversation turned to all things commitment – including the right and wrong time to pop the question.

In the clip, Hughes says he’s against getting engaged on an obvious milestone like Christmas, claiming it takes away from the surprise of the proposal.

JS seemed to get the idea… and joked that Chris is trying to keep her guessing – although she did think about it for a moment before giving the idea a stamp of approval.

One non-traditional engagement practice that the two won’t partake in is Siwa popping the question to Hughes… because he says he wants to buy the ring and ask her to marry him.

JoJo won’t wait forever, though… telling Hughes he has seven years to ask her – or she’ll ask him. The clock is ticking down to 2032!
