John Turturro Stars in Fox Sports “Big Noon Saturday” campaign

FOX Sports has launched a new creative campaign for “Big Noon Saturday” with actor John Turturro. The campaign, entitled “IT All Goes Down at Noon”, is live on all FOX Sports Social Platforms and promotes the University Football match of the Network of the Week.

In the campaign, the Turturro nominated by Emmy plays an obsessive fanatic at the University in various videos where he looks excited at games from a cave in Michigan’s Jumbotron. Everywhere he will make his way through the stadium, comment on the sport and the season, stalking announcer Gus Johnson and in the crazy disaster of a lacquered fan.

“As a passionate sports fan that suffers from the strop and arrows of my favorite sports teams, I enjoyed working with FOX Sports,” Turturro said in a statement. “We have all been that person – ride the highlights and lows, hanging on every game. Every sports fan has felt that.”

The first video of the campaign appeared during the matchup of Fox College Football Friday between Kansas State and Arizona on 12 September. Later videos appear on social media and on TV spots during the university football season, broadcast during other FOX Sports Properties such as FOX NFL, FOX MLB, MLB -Postseason and MLB World Series. “It’s all at noon” was developed and written by Gary van Dzura van Mullen Lowe and directed by Brian Billow.

“This campaign represents everything we want FOX Sports to state, authentic stories that fans connect, and combined with our creative team of world class, we deliver something that will resonate with the national audience,” said Fox Sports Senior Vice President of On-Air Promotions Bill Battin.

Turturro is currently Emmy nominated Vanr “Severance”, his second Emmy nod for the series. He has previously won an Emmy for “Monk”; His other credits are the films “Barton Fink”, “Do the Right Thing” and “The Big Lebowski”, as well as the TV shows “The Night of” and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
