John Cena is fighting herself in DC TV program

San Diego Comic Con received a healthy dose of peace on Saturday.

Star John Cena dressed up in Voluum as his DC Universe personage Peacemaker for the Hall H panel of the show. He was accompanied by Showrunner and DC Studios Co-President James Gunn and co-stars Frank Grillo, Jennifer Holland, Frank Grillo, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, Sol Rodriguez and Tim Meadows.

At his luck and rejected by Holland’s Emilia Harcourt, Peacemaker Rent Rent to a new universe, which causes interdimensional problems. The cast also discussed the opening of the “Peacemaker”, including a surprising viral dance sequence in season 1. Gunn said they were not “trying to exaggerate” with the new credits for opening season 2.

“One of the miraculous things about the openings of the first season is nobody seen. People couldn’t believe what they saw,” he said. “It doesn’t try to make the first season. It’s bigger, there is a different atmosphere. New characters, different dancers.”

One of the new dance movements is a tribute to ‘Dirty Dancing’, Holland revealed.

“We have a great choreographer who took the idea and atmosphere of James what he went for and made something special,” she said. “I had a great time to do it. I don’t want to spoil anything, but there is one specific thing that I asked at the universe:” You allow me to do the elevator of “Dirty Dancing.” ‘I have to do a lift and it’s great. ”

Grillo joked: “Dancing started as something that I did reluctantly and it changed in me as the best dancer on stage.”

“Peacemaker” season 2 will premiere on HBO Max on August 21 and consists of eight episodes. It comes more than three years after the release of season 1, which was back in early 2022. Between the two seasons of ‘Peacemaker’, Gunn and Safran were hired as co-CEOs of DC Studios, they restarted the new DC universe with ‘Superman’ and ‘Creature Commandos’, and HBO Max changed the name of Simply Max and then back to HBO Max.

Cena plays as the Uber-patriotic mercenary Christopher Smith, who debuted as Peacemaker in Gunn’s DC film ‘The Suicide Squad’ from 2021. Peacemaker starts working for Argus, the advanced research group that unites Superhumans. In season 1 he investigates the Butterfly project and has to kill parasitic aliens who have taken over the spirit of people around the world. Eventually he saved the day and even met the Old Justice League (consisting of Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller, who have since lost their role in the restart). Recently Cena’s Peacemaker had a cameo in Gunn’s “Superman” as a guest in a conservative talk show earlier this month.
