Jo Koy tells the emergency landing of his flight after electric fire on the plane

Jo Koy Remembers when his international flight was needed to make an emergency landing after an electric fire filled the hut with smoke … and he says his son helped his family to stay calm with a perfectly timed joke.

We got the comedian at Lax and he told us about his scary situation on his most recent flight … A long journey from the Philippines to Los Angeles who required an unplanned stop in Japan early Thursday.

Jo says he tried to sleep when he started to notice smoke and heard the cockpit crew running around, hit overhead compartments … and he knew something was wrong.

Fortunately, Jo says that the cockpit crew has done great work to handle an emergency situation … and it sounds like it didn’t hurt to have a former family member of the stewardess who also travels with him.
