Jimmy Kimmel lashes out at enemy Trump in devastating Christmas message

Jimmy Kimmel lashed out at Donald Trump and the state of the country in a scathing holiday message: RadarOnline.com can report and say to foreign television viewers: “Tyranny is increasing here.”
The talk show host and frequent Trump provocateur was asked to deliver British broadcaster Channel 4’s ‘Alternative Christmas Message’.
Kimmel was asked to give the British broadcaster light-hearted holiday messageand the 58-year-old used his time to skewer Trump.
Sitting in front of a fireplace and a Christmas tree, with some tea and crumpets on the side table next to him, Kimmel spoke in a soft, reassuring tone that belied his powerful message.
“Tyranny is flourishing here,” Kimmel began, sharing his perspective on current conditions in the United States. “You may have read in your colorful newspapers that the president of my country would like to silence me because I do not worship him the way he likes to be worshiped.”
The comedian was referring to the controversial removal of his show earlier this year following the fallout from comments he made following the murder of Charlie Kirk. Kimmel’s message then celebrated what he called a “September miracle,” as the public outcry helped him get back on the air.
“Millions and millions of people stood up and said, ‘No, this is not acceptable,'” Kimmel said. “And because so many people spoke out, we came back. Our show came back stronger than ever.
“We won, the president lost, and now I’m back on the air every night giving the most powerful politician in the world some legitimate and well-deserved trash talk.”
Kimmel ended his message by asking the British public “not to let us down,” adding: “We’re in a bit of a bind right now, but we’ll get out of it.”
Fans around the world cheered the message and shared their support from their home countries.
“There are still healthy individuals in the United States,” one person noted. “That’s some consolation.”
Another added: “Well done, Jimmy! Well said, and exactly the message that not just Britain but the whole world needs to hear. It’s like one of those cards they used to put up on local TV stations: ‘We’re experiencing technical difficulties.'”
A third person commented: “As a Frenchman who looks at your government actions with total disgust, a disgust that extends to all individuals and institutions that succumb to power, money or both, I admire you and all those who fight against this madness.”
While one person from Australia urged: “Hang in there Jimmy. You’ll never get a better subject to take the p— out on. You’ve got plenty of followers from Down Under. We have a saying here: keep the b——- honest.”
Kimmel will indeed last at least another two years there. The former host of The men’s show has struck a new deal with ABC and parent company Disney that will keep it on air until 2027.
After learning that Kirk had been killed, Kimmel became angry when talking about the situation on his show.
In particular, Kimmel went after the “MAGA gang” for “desperately trying to characterize the suspect” as something other than one of them.
Two days after Kimmel made the comments, his show was suspended.
It remained unclear for a while what would happen to Kimmel’s show, but it finally returned to the air on September 23.
When he returned, Kimmel didn’t avoid the topic, but addressed it head-on
Although the joker claimed it was “never” his intention “to make light of the murder of a young man,” he did emphasize that the “show isn’t important.”
“What’s important is that we’re going to live in a country where we can have a show like this,” he continued, noting that he was “not happy” when his show was canceled because he “didn’t agree with that decision.”
