Jimmy Fallon, Scottie Pippen, more stars watch American basketball win a gold medal
The Olympic basketball hopefuls’ dreams brought some big stars to the gold medal game… and they just saw the USA get the win against France.
Jimmy Fallon led the group of famous faces at the event… grinning along the court and even stopped to take some photos with the French president Emmanuel Macron.
US Olympians past and present, such as two-time basketball gold medalist Scottie Pippen and follower Sha’Carri Richardsonwho brings home some serious hardware from Paris, also shouted it from the sidelines.
NBA legend Carmelo Anthony might reflect on his four Olympic appearances — three ending in gold and the other in bronze — also during the competition… and cheer for some of his former teammates.
And mayor of LA Karen Bass also drove to the arena… probably in town for the closing ceremony and the handover to the 2028 Olympics that we told you all about.
Other attendees with names in bold…NBA Committee Adam Silver, Megan Rapinoe, Sue VogelFirst gentleman Doug Emhoff, Rich Paul, Michael Rubin and more.

The US just pulled off a 98-87 victory against France…although the game turned out to be much closer than the score. The star center of France Victor Wembanyama burst into tears after the hard-fought match.
For the US it is the fifth consecutive gold medal dating back to the Redeem Team in Beijing in 2008. The French silver markers fall just short for the second time in a row.
Four years until Los Angeles… and we have to feel that France will take revenge.
