Jessica Chastain’s ‘Savant’ postponed at Apple Na Charlie Kirk Death

Apple TV+ has postponed the release of “The Savant”, his upcoming thriller series with Jessica Chastain in the lead as a researcher who works to prevent domestic extremism. The move comes amid the aftermath of the murder of Charlie Kirk.

“After a careful consideration, we made the decision to postpone ‘The Savant’,” reads an Apple statement. “We appreciate your understanding and look forward to releasing the series on a future date.”

The official logline for the series says that it “follows an undercover researcher who is known as ‘The Savant’ while she infiltrates online in an attempt to stop domestic extremists before they act.” In it, Chastain Jodi Goodwin, a military veteran, plays at the Anti-Hate Alliance. There she secretly visits 4chan-like notice boards and tries to draw potential terrorists. Early in the series, as a white nationalist, she encounters the planning of a large -scale domestic attack and tries to infiltrate the group to thwart it.

“The Savant” is based on the Cosmopolitan story 2019“Is it possible to stop a massive shooting before it happens?”
