The once glamorous model, 41, now homeless and living on the streets of Venice Beach, caught the public’s attention after photos emerged in 2018 of her digging through trash cans, leaving everyone, including her ex-husband, was left in disbelief.

Jackson, 44, had not seen his ex in four years after a heated argument that culminated in a 911 call that effectively ended their two-year marriage.

He described the pain of losing Willison as comparable to the death of someone close to him, and recounted his futile attempts to help her through her struggles with mental illness and addiction.

The Baywatch actor claimed, “The woman I was in love with is gone, and whoever she is now mentally is not who I knew.”

During their last year together, Willison’s mental health deteriorated, manifesting in paranoia, anxiety attacks, and hallucinations that led her to believe that Jackson was her enemy.

Despite Jackson’s attempts to support and guide her, Willison’s condition deteriorated, leading to further strain on their relationship.

In addition to battling his own demons, Jackson devoted significant resources to helping Willison recover, including attending therapy sessions, taking medication and seeking spiritual support. However, his efforts proved futile as Willison’s behavior became increasingly erratic.

The couple’s tumultuous relationship, marked by Willison’s past in the adult entertainment industry, culminated in their marriage in 2012, but faced challenges due to her reluctance to give up her career.

Jackson was able to help keep her away from drugs and porn while they were together, but he was ill-equipped to deal with her deteriorating mental health, which in the last year of their marriage was accompanied by worsening panic attacks, hallucinations and breakdowns.

He claimed: “She heard things. She saw things, and she accused me of things that were completely delusional. She suffered massive nervous breakdowns and panic attacks.

“She came home from work crying, afraid she would stab someone at the doctor.”

The relationship suffered because of Willison’s refusal to give up her porn career.

Despite his attempts to help her, Jackson claimed that his then-girlfriend attempted a “hostile takeover” of his finances by secretly recording him and calling the police who accuse him of attempted murder.

Jackson told the Daily Mail: “She framed me and started shouting that I was hurting her when I had done nothing to her.

“There are no hospital records. There are no medical bills. There are no X-rays and there are no photographs. She attacked me during the admission and screamed, ‘You’re hurting me.’

“I haven’t seen her since that day… I went through the biggest depression of my life for two years after that.”
