Jensen Ackles and Eric Dane Series ‘Countdown’ sets release date

The new action series by Jensen Ackles and Eric Dane, “Countdown”, has a set on 25 June with a premiere of three episodes on Amazon Prime Video
Amazon has also released first look-photos from the series, which can be seen below. The official synopsis for the series made by Derek Haas Leest:
“When an officer at the Department of Homeland Security is murdered in broad daylight, LAPD -Detective Mark Machum (ACLES) is recruited at a secret task force, alongside undercover agents of all branches of law enforcement, to investigate a city for a city of millions.”
ACKLES recently played in ‘The Boys’, also from Prime Video, as a soldier boy. He will repeat that role in the coming prequel ‘Vought Rising’. Over the years he also appeared in ‘Gen v’, ‘SuperNatural’, ‘Kings of Con’, ‘Justice League: Warworld’, ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and ‘Days of Our Lives’. Dane is known for his roles in “Gray’s Anatomy” as Dr. Mark Sloan, where he played episodes in 139. He also appeared in “X-Men: The Last Stand”, “Burlesque” and “Feast.”
The cast is completed by Jessica Camacho (“Watchmen”), Violett Beane (“Death and Other details”), Elliot Knight (“The Boys”) and Uli Latukefu (“Young Rock”). The series is executive produced by Haas and produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
When Variety Earlier reported, Ackles and the production company of his wife Daneel, Chaos Machine, is currently under a first-look deal at Amazon MGM Studios. Haas is now under a general deal in the studio. “Countdown” was developed as a main vehicle for Ackles.
