Jennifer Lopez thinks about how “the whole world blew up” and isn’t looking forward to a date

Jennifer Lopez gets vocal about her breakup with her husband Ben Affleck …share the reason for the much-discussed split for the first time.

The singer opened himself up to being a comedian Nikki Glaser in a new profile Interview magazinewhere J Lo confessed that her “whole damn world blew up” after the release of her musical film “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” – which focused on her love story with Ben.

Although Jennifer didn’t mention Ben directly, she hinted at what caused her marriage to fall apart. She said to Nikki, “You have to be complete if you want something more complete.”

According to Jennifer, she thought she had “already learned that,” but over the summer she had an epiphany.

She continued… “I had to say, ‘I need to get away and be alone. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.'”

J Lo recalled feeling a mix of emotions after the divorce, including fear, sadness and despair.

She added… “Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I can’t look for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself.”

As for whether she wants to date again during the breakup, Jennifer made it clear that she’s focusing on herself right now… noting that she “wasn’t looking for anyone.”

TMZ broke the story…Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben in August after splitting earlier this year. Concerns about Jen and Ben’s marriage grew after the actor moved to his own house this summer … while the singer remains behind at their Beverly Hills marital home.

The couple then tried it unload the house …almost sold the property to a New Jersey couple before the deal fallen out of escrow.

Jennifer also notably canceled her summer tour due to marital issues… which she thought was for the best.

According to Jennifer, she needed time to focus on herself and her children… calling it “the hardest time of” [her] to live.”
