Jenna Bush Hager’s Sister Barbara Reveals Dream of Dying at the Same Time as Her ‘Twin Flame’ – as She Opens Up About Childhood in Texas

Barbara Bush has admitted she wants to die ‘at the same time’ as her twin sister, Jenna Bush Hagerbecause of their ‘alien’ connection.

The twin siblings, 43, were featured in Deborah Roberts‘ new book, “Sisters Loved and Treasured: Stories of Unbreakable Bonds.”

In the book, the sisters reflected on their childhood and growing up in Texas as daughters of the former president George W Bush79, and his wife, Laura Bushmade their bond closer.

Barbara noted that she and Jenna were “constantly together,” adding that her twin brother quickly became “the partner that was always by my side.”

“We were trying to fit into the world in a way that would be stable for both of us,” Barbara said.

And because they did everything together during their childhood, the siblings hope that they can also die together.

“And honestly, I don’t want to be morbid, but I hope we die at the same time. I never knew the world without Jenna, and I would be devastated to be in it without her.

“It’s an otherworldly connection. We were in the womb together. It feels primal in some ways,” Barbara said.

This isn’t the first time the sisters have raved about their close bond. Jenna – co-host of ‘Today With Jenna & Friends’ – told the story earlier People that her sibling helped her make decisions before crediting her with the success of her TV show.

“She makes me feel brave and powerful because she was my first audience. She was the first hand I held. And so I always felt supported, even when we were teenagers and we were throwing shoes at each other’s heads,” Jenna said at the time.

Jenna previously shared some insight into her life in the White House, revealing how her husband, Henry Hagerfound himself in very hot water with his then-future mother-in-law during a White House stay prior to their 2008 wedding.

Jenna opened up about the incident during a recent episode of “Today with Jenna and friends,” explaining that she had moved to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with her parents before they tied the knot — and invited Henry, 47, to stay with her for Christmas.

“I lived with my parents for a very short period of time because I had written a book and was on a book tour, and I was going to move in with Henry before we got married,” she explained.

The TV presenter – who now shares three children with Henry – recalled how they enjoyed a night out on the town before returning to the White House, only to be met by a very upset Laura in the morning.

‘My mother came in [to our room]”Maybe we had been out the night before, and my mom came in and said, ‘Henry, I know what you did,'” she shared, adding that Laura’s unusually strict attitude left Jenna’s partner bewildered.

Jenna imitated her mother’s furious tone, revealing that Laura told Henry, “I know what you did.” You took Joseph with you.”

She added that Henry was stunned by the accusation and admitted he had no idea what Laura was talking about.

Eventually they got to the heart of the problem, with Laura then explaining that White House staff had wrapped the nativity scene with that year’s official decorations but had not been able to find the figure of Joseph.

“My mom thought Henry came in after a few beers and stole Joseph,” Jenna revealed. “And he said, ‘By my word I did not take Joseph, I promise you I did not.’ And my mother says, ‘No, I know you did that. I know you brought Joseph with you. ”

Ultimately, staffers found the figure “under a desk somewhere,” proving Henry’s innocence and disproving Laura’s “false accusation.” However, Jenna said she learned a very clear lesson from the incident: Her parents were ready for her and Henry to move into a home of their own.

“What that said was, ‘You need to get out of here. I’m tired of you guys being late. You could have done something like stole Joseph and I’m getting grumpy with your towels on the floor and stuff,'” Jenna explained.

Luckily, Jenna and Henry tied the knot just a few months later on the family’s 1,600-acre ranch in Texas — and it seems the tension between Laura and her son-in-law had evaporated by the time the big day arrived.
