Jeff Bezos’ ‘Strategic Wedding Charity Donations’

Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, are due to exchange vows during a three -day celebration in Venice, from 24 to 26 June, at locations, including the Scuola Grande della Misericordia and perhaps San Giorgio Maggiore or the Arsenale.

The guest list is covered at 200, with celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Ivanka Trump and Leonardo DiCaprio.

In anticipation of the wedding, the couple made a point of providing party items for donations.

In April they contributed € 1 million to Corila, an academic consortium dedicated to storing the Venice lagoon, and brought extra gifts to UNESCO and local cultural bodies, often in the names of their superstar guests.

A Hollywood – publicist noted: “It is pure genius … Lauren can look generous and smart – all during dressing in couture.”

The move is because local and environmental groups have spoken against the wedding.
