Javier Pons promoted at NBCUIVERSAL Telemundo Enterprises

Javier Pons has been promoted to Chief Content Officer and Head of Telemundo Studios, the low -production of NBCUIversal Telemundo Enterprises.

Pons, who previously performed VP served by Telemundo Studios from 2024, reports in his new position to Telemundo chairman Luis Fernandez.

In addition to the supervision of the script capacity, Pons New Helmet Telemundo’s Entertainment Division will, in particular, registers, specials and daily shows.

“It is a privilege to extend my role to supervise the award -winning entertainment department of Telemundo. I am grateful for the possibility of becoming a member of a team of professionals who have re -defined Hispanic entertainment,” said Pons. “I look forward to working together in studios and entertainment to continue to develop and produce the most innovative, contemporary and fascinating content in Spanish -speaking media.”

Pons previously worked as general manager of Globomedia and the head of TV of MediaPro Studio. He produced the film ‘Official Competition’ and was a representative producer for ‘The Good Boss’. He helped make the series “Nasdrovia”, “The Boarding School: Las Cumbres” and “Mano de Hierro.”

“Since his arrival at Telemundo, Javier has yielded great results and has strengthened the position of Telemundo Studios for the future. I am delighted to apply his enormous experience in production and media management to his new extensive role as Chief Content Officer,” Fernandez said.

Pons was also part of the establishment of the “Tengo Una Pregunta Para Usted,” “Ninja Warrior” and “El Juego de los Anillos.” He has a degree of information sciences from the Universitat Autónomade Barcelona and is an association of journalists from Catalonia member.
