Jake Paul beats Julio César Chávez Jr. after 10 rounds

Jake Paul’s expected return to the ring ended with a victory victory against Julio César Chávez Jr. After 10 rounds.
The fight took place on Saturday evening in the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. With a record of 11 wins and one loss, including seven knockout victories, this punching match marks Paul’s newest victory after a seven-month-old hiatus from the sport. His most published fight was against Mike Tyson In November 2024, who ended up with Paul who greatly defeated the 58-year-old boxing. The event became one of the most viewed sporting events on Netflix, with an estimated 65 million viewers worldwide.
Outside of Tyson, Chávez Jr. A strong record held with 54 victories, one draw and six losses, including 34 knockouts. From 2011 to 2012 he held the WBC Middleweight title until he lost to Sergio Martinez that same year. Since then, during his career, he has confronted highlights and lows, including an earlier defeat in 2021 against former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, who defeated Paul in 2022.
His father, the former three-division world champion Julio César Chávez, expressed his high expectations for his son before he entered the ring with Paul.
“All fights are difficult. Jake Paul is young and strong, but he is never confronted with a hunter like my son,” he said during a press conference in May. “I would have given Mike Tyson a better fight. He didn’t throw a punch the whole fight. This time is different.”
There were six other fights on the main map before Paul vs. Chávez Jr. The Co-Main event consisted of a battle between Gilberto Ramírez and Yuniel Dorticos, which ended in the victory of Ramirez.
