Jackson Duggar denies his family is ‘in a cult’ in resurfaced interview

The video resurfaced in a Reddit wire on March 25, six days after Jackson’s older brother, Joseph, was arrested for allegedly abusing a then-nine-year-old girl during a family vacation in Florida in 2020.
“As the saying goes, if you have to say you’re not in a cult, you’re probably in a cult,” one user commented.
“Imagine just telling someone you’re not in a cult. Weeks later your second cult member gets arrested for CSA,” a second commented about Joe, while also referencing how the eldest Duggar son, Josh, admitted to abusing his younger sisters when he was a teenager.
“That’s what’s so insidious about the fundie culture like IFBP: they turn every family into their own cult and the father into the cult leader whose authority should not be questioned,” a third user commented, referring to Jim Bob.
A fourth person complained: ‘This is sad. I don’t blame him, even though he’s just a kid and has been brainwashed all his life.”
