ITC Hotels Limited honored with numerous top titles at World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards | News


Indian hospitality leader ITC Hotels Limited has been honored with a series of top titles at the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards (WSTHA). The company, which today includes more than 140 hotels in more than 90 destinations, was chosen as:
• The world’s leading sustainable organization 2025
• The world’s leading sustainable employer 2025
• The world’s leading sustainable food and nutrition initiative 2025
• The world’s leading sustainable marketing campaign 2025
The awards were unveiled in front of hundreds of global sustainable tourism leaders gathered in Dubai for the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards 2025. The VIP ceremony was held at Terra, Expo City Dubai and recognized the individuals and organizations accelerating change in net positive tourism.

Guided by its pioneering ‘Responsible Luxury’ philosophy, ITC Hotels Limited is recognized globally for delivering world-class guest comfort with uncompromising environmental stewardship. As a global example of sustainability, the chain has the highest number of LEED Platinum certifications worldwide (23), including ITC Maurya.
Commenting on being recognized with the awards, Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels Limited said: “This global recognition reaffirms our commitment to responsible luxury – where sustainability and excellence come together to redefine hospitality. ITC Hotels aims for net zero emissions by 2040 and aligns with GRI and other global reporting frameworks. Innovations include atmospheric water generators, zero-emission electric boilers, biogas systems, kitchen decarbonization initiatives and circular water and waste management initiatives.

WSTHA is run in partnership with the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, whose partners and members represent more than 66,000 hotels, eight million rooms worldwide, 300 brands and more than 100 supply chain and strategic partners.
