Israeli spy stayed in Jeffrey Epstein’s apartment for weeks

Koren went to work as a covert “fixer” in Washington, DC, where he gained access to then-President Barack Obama’s CIA director and later Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, and his senior adviser, Jeremy Bash.
According to Epstein’s personal calendars, Koren stayed at the financier’s guest apartment for two weeks in early October 2014.
While there, Koren forwarded a message from Bash detailing Panetta’s itinerary while promoting his memoir: Worthy fights.
Barak interpreted the message as Koren’s proposal to meet Panetta in New York, and he said he would not be able to make it in time.
In another twist, Barak asked Koren for help in gaining special access to the secure areas of both the Pentagon and the White House, saying in an email that he wanted to take his family members there, including his grandchildren, during a visit to Washington, DC.
Barak and his family were given a tour of the White House by Yael Lempert, a special assistant to President Obama, and director of the National Security Council for the Levant, Israel and Egypt. It was Lempert who would negotiate a $38 billion aid package for Israel in 2016.
The US Department of Justice has maintained that there is no evidence that Epstein was an intelligence asset.
