Databricks has just arrested another AI company.
This week, the Giant Data Analytics announced an acquisition of $ 1 billion from Neon, a start -up building of an open source alternative to AWS Aurora Postgres. It is the newest in a spree of controversial purchases that become a member of Mosaicml and Tabular, because Databricks positions itself as the place to build, implement and scales AI-Native applications.
