‘Iron Chef’, ‘Forensic Files’ FAST channels join Telus Canada

Radial Entertainment has signed a licensing deal with Telus Communications to bring five favorite FAST channels to the telecom giant’s streaming platforms in Canada.
The deal makes Radial’s ‘Iron Chef’, ‘Forensic Files’, ‘Hot Ones’, ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ and ‘Untold Stories of the ER’ channels available on Telus TV and Stream+, with more than 910 hours of content. The channels will launch on the Telus TV+ app for all Optik TV and Stream+ subscribers at no additional cost.
“We are pleased to bring these highly popular FAST channels to Canadian audiences at Telus and enhance their fast-growing Connected TV and streaming business,” said Daniel Gagliardi, executive VP of North American digital distribution at Radial Entertainment. “By partnering with Telus, a communications technology powerhouse serving millions of Canadians, we can leverage our FAST expertise at a scale that will truly transform the way audiences discover and enjoy premium content.”
The channels are included in the Free Streaming Channels section and Channel Guide on Telus’ platforms, which currently offer more than 70 FAST channels to subscribers.
The deal was negotiated by Jenna Pascuzzo, director of North American digital distribution at Radial Entertainment, with Michael Smith of Warburn Consulting advising, in addition to Telus Communications.
