Inside the royal family’s latest and bitter feud, not Harry

Andrew was reportedly encouraged to stay in London over Christmas to avoid proximity to senior royals, who gathered at Sandringham over the Christmas holidays.
Despite this, Beatrice and Eugenie attended the Christmas Day church service and celebrations after being invited by their uncle King Charles, 77, who was reportedly keen to protect his nieces from their father’s fallout.
Observers noted apparent tension during the traditional post-service walk.
A royal watchman claimed Prince William, 43, appeared to avoid eye contact with Eugenie.
They said: “Christmas Day might have provided an opportunity for a visible gesture of togetherness, even something as simple as walking side by side or exchanging a smile in public. Instead, that moment passed without such a display, for reasons that remain unclear.”
A source close to the royal family disputed suggestions of a wider feud, insisting that William spent time with both sisters over Christmas and that there were ‘no major hard feelings’ between them, even as rifts within the fractured York family deepened.
