Ike Turner Jr. suffer ‘the same abuse’ as his mother Tina

Before she died, the What love has to do with it Singer detailed the violent horrors she suffered while she was married to Ike Sr.

Tina remembered in her autobiography 2018, My love story, that Ike Sr. Was a serial cheater and his temperamental ways grew when he abused drugs.

“Sex with Ike had become an expression of hostility – a kind of rape – especially when it started or ended with a beating,” she claimed. “What had been ugly and hateful before got worse with every pinch of cocaine.”

Within the pages, Tina told some of her darkest times, with details about a copy when Ike Sr. Allegedly hot coffee threw in her face, which gave her third degree burns.

“He used my nose as often as a boxing bag that I could taste blood down my throat when I sang,” she wrote about how it not only influenced her physical well -being, but also her career and mental health. “He broke my jaw. And I couldn’t remember what it was like not to have a black eye.”
