IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has announced the signing of a management agreement with Eros Group (Nehru Place Hotels Pvt Ltd) for the opening of InterContinental Eros New Delhi Nehru Place. The new addition will open under the InterContinental brand following the renovation, which is expected to be completed in 2029, and is in line with IHG’s strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio to key locations in India.

With more than 237 hotels open worldwide and more than 102 hotels in the pipeline, the brand has spent decades pioneering new destinations – from historic landmarks to immersive resorts – each serving as an indelible beacon of hospitality, connecting guests to culture at every moment. In India, InterContinental continues to build remarkable momentum, expanding into key metros while meeting rising demand for resort experiences with recent contracts in coveted resort destinations including Kasauli and Kodaikanal. Well known among both domestic and international travelers, the brand is poised for its next chapter of growth, and this latest signing in the heart of the national capital marks a defining moment in InterContinental’s story in India.

Originally launched in 1996 and subsequently managed under the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts banner for more than a decade, the property later operated independently as Eros Hotel New Delhi before rejoining the IHG system with this latest signing. The hotel’s prime location puts guests minutes away from the Nehru Place Metro Station, within easy reach of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (30 – 35 minutes) and close to iconic cultural attractions such as the Lotus Temple and Kalkaji Mandir, making it an ideal destination for both business and leisure travelers.
