‘Huda from Love Island and friend Louis laugh at fan who calls Olandria N-Word, on video

‘Love Island USA’
No laughing matter
… Huda and Louis Flamed for giggling at N-Bomb
Published
‘Love Island’ star Huda Mustafa‘s livestream with boyfriend Louis Russell turned ugly when they laughed at a shouting fan Olandria Carthen the N-word… now they’re all responding to give their side of the story.
So here’s what Huda had to say… she claims she heard the N-word, but that’s all. According to her, she didn’t know the unknown caller – who sounded like a little child – was using the word to describe Olandria… but that still begs the question: why were they laughing???
Huda, wrote: “laughing was because it was FALSE.” Hmmm…
She added: “I really don’t condone racism, which is why it was immediately put up…whoever said it is wrong.”
As for Louis — in a now-deleted IG story post — he said that as a black man who has experienced bigotry firsthand, you are completely wrong to think he condones racism.
He defended himself, writing… “I don’t even want to give the person who said the slur the satisfaction they get from this, but I have to come out here and say something because it wasn’t what we heard.”
It still seems a bit baffling, but whatever happens, this does NOT help Huda defeat the accusations that she is complicit in her fans’ online bullying of Olandria.
In fact, many people on social media called out Huda and Louis for what they called a “disrespectful” and “tone deaf” response.
Olandria responded graciously, directing her followers to the websites of the NAACP, UNCF, and Thurgood Marshall College Fund, writing… “Words like that carry generations of pain, and pretending otherwise only perpetuates the cycle. Defending it, laughing about it, or making excuses is even worse.’
She cooked them honestly with that. Well said, sister.
We reached out to Huda and Louis for comment…so far no word back.
