How the Tumbler Ridge school shooting in Canada unfolded

Nine people were killed and 25 people injured in two connected shootings in the Tumbler Ridge municipality of British Columbia in Canada. Police say the suspect, who they have named as 18-year-old Jesse van Rootselaar, was found dead at the school.

People in the small town of have reacted with shock, as Prime Minister Mark Carney reacted emotionally saying, “the country mourns” with Tumbler Ridge.
