Markle was first photographed in naked tights on King Charles’ 70th birthday party in 2018, shortly after her marriage to Prince Harry, but soon left them for Solo -Egents.

Allegedly, the Kousendebat played a role in a wedding row between the two women.

Tatler Magazine previously reported claims from Friends of the Princess, in which Markle in its Windsor Castle -Marriage Marriages in its Windsor by refusing to have young bridesmaids, including Princess Charlotte, wear.

One insider has now claimed: “At the marriage rehearsal, Kate insisted that the children had to be in tights to stay with the tradition. Meghan did not agree and it turned into a real flash point between them.”

Photos of the day seem to show the bridesmaids with bare legs, unlike the wedding of Prince William and Middleton in 2011, where the tights were worn.

A source added: “It may seem small, but in royal circles, tights symbolize tradition. Meghan considered it a matter of choice, while Kate saw it as an obligation. Neither was willing to withdraw.”

A former palace employee said: “Meghan was determined to follow her own path. What started when an argument about tights came to represent the greater battle – tradition against independence. That conflict is still not resolved.”
