Holland America Line unveils UK ship visit program for 2026 | News
Holland America Line has confirmed that it will host eight travel agency ship visits this year across two Pinnacle-class ships.
There are over 400 places available, with events taking place in Rotterdam or Nieuw Statendam in Southampton, Dover, Portland, Falmouth, Greenock and Liverpool.
Dates and locations include:
* Rotterdam, Falmouth – April 1
* Rotterdam, Southampton – April 3
*Nieuw Statendam, Dover – April 17
* Nieuw Statendam, Portland – May 14
* Nieuw Statendam, Greenock – June 7
* Nieuw Statendam, Dover – July 10
* Nieuw Statendam, Greenock – July 18
* Nieuw Statendam, Liverpool – July 20
The April 3 event will be the line’s first dedicated family ship visit, held in partnership with travel support group Back in Time for Bed. It offers a range of family-friendly activities at the Kids’ Club and lunch with menu options from Lido Market, Dive In Burger or New York Pizza & Deli. In addition, a group of travel and tourism students will participate in the visit on April 3 to support their studies.
Karen Farndell, associate vice president of sales and marketing for the UK and Ireland at Holland America Line, said: “These visits give agents the opportunity to experience our ships first-hand, allowing them to sell with complete confidence. With more than 400 places available in Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam, including our first family ship visit in April, we are demonstrating our continued support of the trade and recognizing how important agents are in raising awareness of Holland America in the UK.
“We also look forward to welcoming local students on board, providing them with valuable knowledge of cruise operations and helping to nurture the next generation of talent within the industry.”
All visits include a welcome presentation and company update by the Holland America Line trading team, a guided tour and lunch. Details on how agents can register their interest will be released soon.
This year, Nieuw Statendam will be home to Dover for the second consecutive season, operating a series of seven- and fourteen-day European cruises from April to October, including to the Norwegian fjords, Iceland and the Canary Islands.
