HKIA voted ‘World’s Leading Airport for Customer Experience’ at the World Travel Awards | News

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has been elected “The world’s leading airport for customer experience”as the airport won a string of awards in the prestigious 32nd World travel awardsin recognition of the airport’s continued efforts to improve passenger facilities and provide excellent services.
HKIA was also voted “Asia’s main airport” for the fifth time since 2020, as well as “China’s main airport”For the fourth year in a row.
Vivian Cheung, CEO of Airport Authority Hong Kongsaid, “We are deeply honored to achieve the title of ‘World’s Leading Airport for Customer Experience’, and to once again be recognized as ‘Asia’s Leading Airport’ and ‘China’s Leading Airport’ among many outstanding peers worldwide. These awards reflect our continued commitment to delivering exceptional service and a seamless travel experience for customers, while continually driving innovation.”

“HKIA is the only airport in the world where passengers can complete all departure procedures using only their smartphones and facial recognition technology. To enhance the passenger experience, we inaugurated the new Coach Hall in 2025 as the first phase of the opening of the expanded Terminal 2, which aims to provide convenient connections. We have also launched the fully automated parking garage ‘Park & Fly’ to further strengthen our intermodal connectivity for travelers from all over the world. Looking ahead, with airport capacity improved by the Three-runway System and a diverse offering continuously added to our Airport City development SKYTOPIA, HKIA will take the passenger experience to the next level and cement its position as Asia’s premier aviation hub,” Cheung added.
