HBX Group has signed a strategic partnership with Outpayce from Amadeus.
The deal aims to accelerate the development of fintech capabilities and transform the way travel buyers and sellers manage digital payments.
Through this partnership, HBX Group will leverage Outpayce’s cloud-native fintech platform to launch a new payments program designed to simplify and automate the way travel agencies pay hotels, airlines, travel aggregators and destination service providers.
The platform integrates issuance and financial services capabilities with travel-specific features such as enhanced reconciliation and advanced cybersecurity.
Both companies also plan to expand the solution to support inbound (pay-in) flows, enabling a fully connected, end-to-end payment ecosystem.
Travel partners within the HBX Group network will benefit from virtual cards issued by Outpayce, real-time data insights, seamless integration with Outpayce B2B Wallet and a dedicated B2B Wallet Portal to streamline reporting and settlement processes.
These combined capabilities improve payment acceptance, drive operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across the industry.
As part of the agreement, Outpayce will become a strategic partner for issuing virtual cards.
HBX Group uses Outpayce B2B Wallet to power the payment flows of its own suppliers, strengthening the acceptance of billions of euros in annual transactions and supporting the Group’s long-term Fintech strategy.
