Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple is her twin brother in the breakfast tutorial
Gwyneth Paltrowhis 21-year-old daughter Apple Martin is practically her twin brother in the actress’ latest how-to video “Boyfriend Breakfast.”
The Marty Supreme actress, 53, began her new culinary clip shared on Saturday, December 27, by hugging her daughter in their kitchen. Mother and daughter wore similar navy blue pajamas as Paltrow gave Martin a big kiss on the cheek.
Paltrow then whipped up a delicious breakfast with holiday leftovers – first turning some filling from the fridge into a waffle. She added some fried onions, rainbow chard, and two fried eggs to create a meal that would convince even the pickiest boyfriend.
In 2022, Paltrow started a series of ‘Boyfriend Breakfast’ tutorials based on the meals she made for her now husband Brad Falchuk every Saturday morning when they were dating. (Paltrow and Falchuk started dating in 2014 and married in 2018.)
“When we were dating, we started a tradition of me cooking breakfast for him every Saturday morning,” she said Fashion in September 2022. “I came up with all kinds of very creative breakfasts. I put time into each weekly schedule. I called them ‘Boyfriend Breakfasts.'”
Paltrow explained that her and Falchuk’s “Boyfriend Breakfasts” stemmed from her wondering if she could “be a feminist and still enjoy doing domestic things.”
“[You can] when you are aware of – you do something, you take care of something, because you love it,” she added.
The Academy Award winner’s most famous ‘Boyfriend Breakfast’ is the original frittata that she shared via Instagram in 2022. That recipe combined a traditional egg dish with turkey bacon, potatoes, spinach and onions caramelized in ghee.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s Instagram clip is far from the first time Martin has twinned with her famous mom. Martin was practically her mother’s doppelgänger when she was photographed in a white sweater, navy shorts and matching Mary Jane slip-ons while walking her dog in the Hamptons in July.

Getty Images/ANGELA WEISS/AFPMartin took direct inspiration from one of Paltrow’s iconic fashion moments when she wore her mother’s vintage black Calvin Klein dress to the Marty Supreme premiering in New York City on December 16.
The young socialite and singer told Fashion in September that she is constantly inspired by Paltrow’s style.
“She’s such a badass when it comes to fashion and has just done what she wants and doesn’t really care,” Martin stated. “I feel like I’m finally getting to a place where I don’t really care what people think. She’s influenced me.”
Meanwhile, Paltrow admitted to the publication that she started thinking about Martin’s future style choices before her daughter was even born. (Apple arrived in May 2004 as her mother and ex-husband Chris Martin‘s eldest child. The former couple welcomed son Moses, 19, in April 2006, before ‘consciously uncoupling’ in March 2014.)

“Strangely enough, I started saving clothes for Apple about 15, 20 years before Apple was born,” Paltrow revealed in September. “I don’t just see a peak, I see a moment in my life and all the circumstances surrounding it. I always kept everything in the hope that one day I would have a daughter who would want to go in [my closet].”
Meanwhile, Paltrow’s son Moses made his red carpet debut with his mother at her side Marty Supreme screening in Los Angeles on December 8. Later she relented Late Night with Seth Meyers that it was slightly uncomfortable watching the critically acclaimed drama with Moses because of her on-screen sex scenes with costar Timothée Chalamet.
“He doesn’t like that,” Paltrow joked about her son’s reaction, covering her eyes with her hands.
