Grim reason behind the death of the Simpsons writer Steve Pepoon revealed

Pepoon was born on May 19, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri.

After graduating at Kansas State University in 1978, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his writing career, with his first performance being the aforementioned Alf.

His wife Mary announced his death and said: “It is with deep sadness that Steve Pepoon’s family announces his death on Saturday 3 May 2025.

“Steve was a beloved member of our family and was cherished by many friends. He will be missed enormously. A celebration of life will be planned and details will soon be shared.”

Pepoon was survived by his brothers, Michael and Bill, Sonjus Sonja and Francesca, stepchildren Katie and Nick; And his grandchildren, Micah, McKenzie, Lily, Audrey and Dean.
