Savre, 36, posted a carousel of holiday snaps featuring herself and McKidd, 51, as they packed on the PDA during a Christmas trip to Scotland via Instagram on Wednesday January 1.
“I had a Merry Christmas… 🎶 I hope you all did too! 🥂 🎄,” she captioned the post.
Below the carousel was a video, filmed by McKidd, of the couple kissing. McKidd told Savre that he doesn’t “take good pictures” so he films before telling her, “I love you.”

Other photos show the couple getting into the festive spirit. In one photo, the actors posed in matching Christmas tree outfits, while in the other they stared into each other’s eyes in front of a Christmas tree.
More photos showed McKidd and Savre being photographed outside a festively decorated local pub. Separate images showed Savre enjoying a cocktail at one of the locations, while another picture showed her sipping a pint of beer.
The Shondaland actors first became romantically involved in June 2023 after they were photographed packing on PDA in Lake Como, Italy. But it seems not all of McKidd and Savre’s fans realized they were an item just yet.
“Wait…I missed an important chapter. Or was this the hard launch? 🚀 🔥🙌” a follower responded to Savre’s post.
Others were equally shocked by the loved-up Instagram post, with another follower saying: ‘Wow I was a year old today when I found out these two were together IRL. 😂 happy new year!”
Referring to McKidd’s character Grey’s anatomyadded another shocked follower: “Wtf her and Owen Hunt are dating in real life?”

It is unclear when McKidd and Savre’s relationship first became romantic. However, they first appeared in a crossover episode of their respective shows in February 2020.
McKidd and his ex-wife Arielle Goldrath — with whom he shares son Aiden, 6, and daughter Nava, 5, — called it quits in early 2022. The actor was also previously married to Jane Parkerwith whom he shares son Joseph, 24, and daughter Iona, 22.
Meanwhile, Savre was previously linked to a hockey expert Andreas Contis in 2019.
