Google makes it easier to edit Drive videos with a new Vids shortcut button

Google announced Friday that it improves the editing experience processing experience with a new quick button for VIDs, the AI-driven video creation utilizers of the Tech Giant.
With the new function, users of workspace can initiate a video editing with VIDs directly from the Google Drive interface. While they watch a video in Drive, users see a “Open” button in the top right corner that opens the video in the Vids app. VIDs automatically start the video file, so that further operations can be edited, such as cropping the clip or recording music and text.

This new shortcut, which is activated as standard, suggests that the company will further integrate the app with the Google’s Workspace Suite. Last year, VIDS wants to streamline production production, including the possibility of generating videos of basic text prompts, automatic artisan scripts, rearranging video clips, add transitions and more.
This is on the heels of the company that introduces another Gemini Ai function For workspace users in May, with which they can use AI to summarize video files stored in Google Drive.
