Golden Bachelor’s Nicolle may be the wildest villain in years

Fans who have signed up The golden bachelor for a more wholesome experience, they’ve gotten into trouble with the sharpest Bachelor villain in years: Nicolle Kate Briscoe.

Nicolle (yes, with two L’s!) is a 64-year-old yoga instructor from Miami Beach whose journey on Mel OwensThe senior season started with classic villain editing behavior. She aggressively tried to steal one-on-one time with Mel, 66, and shamelessly dated him in front of other women at pool parties.

However, on the Wednesday, October 8, episode of the ABC show, she took things up a notch by flat out saying that she wasn’t on the show because of – gasp! – the right reasons.

“I told myself from the beginning, I’m not dating Mel. I’m dating America,” Nicolle whispered to a costar on Wednesday’s episode. “I’ll date everyone who’s watching and who’s not watching. That gives you exposure like you’ve never had before.”

Now that the women of The Golden Bachelor have gained their lead over Mel Owens, it’s host Jesse Palmer’s turn. “Mel Owens – the man hit the court harder than his fashion sense ever achieved on The Golden Bachelor,” Jesse, 46, told Entertainment Weekly after the Wednesday, October 1 episode, referring to the current […]

The show then transitioned to a loud and proud Nicolle teaching her fellow contestants how to become influencers after joining Bachelor Nation.

‘We’re going to have it Housewives status,” she stated.

Things got annoying when she dragged the OG Golden bachelor cast with her commentary.

“Now we’re not doing season after season after season like Housewives of Beverly Hills or OC or whatever, but if they’re smart with the way publicity handles our beauty — I’m sorry, but the last cast didn’t look that great…” she said before describing her own social media goals. “My Instagram consists mainly of healthy, plant-based recipes, but I would love to be a spokesperson for midlife, beauty or health-oriented products. I would increasingly become an influencer.”

Although the montage didn’t show many of the women’s reactions, one cast member could be heard saying, “I just want a nice guy.”

Listen, we’re not saying it’s a new concept for Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants (of any age) to look for some fame after appearing on reality TV, but the least they can do is pretend they’re interested in starring!

In fact, the winners of most of the franchise’s couples admit that they weren’t entirely convinced the show would work (and/or were slightly more invested in traveling, making friends, or yes, fame), but they at least tried and could say that finding love (albeit often temporary) was a bonus.

And as if Nicolle committing a Bachelor sin wasn’t enough, later in the episode she took full credit for the lemon bars that several members of the group made for Mel. To quote Stephanie Tanner (she has two grown children, I’m sure she’s seen an episode or two). Full house) – how rude!

While we’ll have to wait to see how Nicolle reacts to the show fully exposing her influencer dreams (I hope she learns her own lemon bar recipe if she plans to share one!), her comments on the reaction to her actions in the first few episodes (which, again, are innocuous and classic if you ask) Us!) indicate that she will not worry too much.

“In the end, I didn’t care,” she said. “I really didn’t. I was having fun. It’s my journey. It’s my story, and they should have theirs. And I honestly feel like they were just really jealous.”

The golden bachelor airs on ABC Wednesdays at 9pm ET.
