Goby Homes launches a transaction platform, founder honored

Nickelson said the platform was developed to reduce transaction errors and cyber security risks that continue to bully industry. Almost 250,000 real estate offers fall every year in the US, according to Goby, and about half of the real estate companies have experienced a cyber attack in the last two years.
“Despite countless available tools, transactions are still falling apart because important information is missed, roles and responsibilities are unclear and real -time transparency is hardly any existing,” Nickelson said. “Without a shared source of accountability, confusion builds, which leads to friction, a bad customer experience and ultimately Fallout.”
The Goby Homes platform serves as a central hub for all parties involved in a transaction – buyers, sellers, brokers and agents – so that they can follow progress, manage documents and communicate in a more structured and safe environment.
Personal motivation
Nickelson – who was inspired to launch the company after his aunt almost lost a purchase of home because of communication spokes – said that the experience emphasized the need for a better system.
“She not only saw her on the house madam she had in mind for her family, but also on the possibility of building wealth by homeowners, motivated me to find a better way,” he said. “My mission is to improve home purchase and sales experience and to ensure that customers eventually get what they came to us for.”
Dan Weisman – Director of Innovation Strategy at Nar – praised Nickelson’s approach to resolve long -term challenges in the industry.
“We believe that technological progress is fundamentally powered by the individuals who create ideas and build innovations,” said Weisman. “Nar’s IOI Innovator of the Year Award celebrates the innovators and the solutions they have built to enable real estate professionals to exceed goals and grow their business.”
Human factor remains key
Nickelson accepted the prize with a nod to the importance of human expertise in an industry that is increasingly being formed by digital tools.
“Receiving the Innovation of the Year Award is a huge honor,” he said. “It strengthens my conviction that although technology plays a crucial role in streamlining processes, in the real estate sector, especially when dealing with the most important investments of our customers, there is really not something like a complete ‘end-to-end’ platform that is exclusively driven by artificial intelligence.
“The nuances of each deal require the experience and know -how of seasoned professionals. Our platform is designed to enable these professionals to offer them better tools, not to replace their invaluable expertise.”
Nickelson was also recently recognized with the Innovation Impact Award of the National Fair Housing Alliance and selected for the Equity Angels’ Catalyst program.
The Goby Homes communication platform is currently available for brokers, agents and customers throughout the country.
