Glen Powell’s secret life revealed – including a near-death helicopter crisis

1. Powell was born on October 21, 1988 in Austin, Texas, the son of executive coach Glen Powell Sr. and homemaker mother Cyndy Powell. He has two sisters.

2. As a prank in eighth grade, Glen released 3,000 crickets into his school. “By the time the cricket thing was executed, I’m in this room with the director,” he recalled.

“All of a sudden you started seeing people running by in the hallways. People just running by and saying, ‘Oh my God!’ They say, ‘Crickets, crickets!’ There’s a guy going crazy. You see crickets flying around. [The principal] looks at me and says, “Did you have anything to do with this?” I was like, ‘I’ve been here the whole time, man.'”
