Giorgio Armani dead on 91 only a few weeks before the 50th birthday celebration
The legendary fashion designer Giorgio Armani has passed away, Radaronline.com can confirm. He was 91.
It was said that the style icon was surrounded by his loved ones when he passed.

His company shared an emotional message that revealed the death online.
The famous fashion house announced on Thursday, which stated that Armani ‘worked until his last days, devoted itself to the company, the collections and the many current and future projects.
“Over the years, Giorgio Armani has made a vision that has expanded from fashion to every aspect of life, anticipatory times with extraordinary clarity and pragmatism. He is driven by ruthless curiosity and a deep attention to the present and for people.
“During this trip he established an open dialogue with the public and became a beloved and respected figure for his ability to make contact with everyone. Always aware of the needs of the community, he has been active on many fronts, especially to support his beloved Milan.”

Golden birthday
The designer was 91.
Armani was only a few weeks away from the official fourth of his 50th year as one of the biggest names of style. The fashion house was launched on July 24, 1975 in Milan, and events and parties were planned throughout the month, with plans to culminate on September 28, when Armani was expected to close Milan Fashion Week with his spring/summer 2026 Women’s Runway Show.
It is too early to say whether those plans should be adjusted.
The business declaration continues: “Giorgio Armani is a company with fifty years of history, built with emotion and patience. Funeral arrangements
He was only a few weeks away from celebrating the 50th anniversary of his fashion house.
The company has not released a cause of death, but said that his body will be in the state in the state at the weekend. That will be followed by a private funeral.
Armani’s family members and employees have also released their own statement, which says: “In this company we have always felt like a part of a family. Nowadays we feel the emptiness left with deep emotion by the person who founded this family and fed with vision, passion and dedication.
“But it is precisely in his mind that we, the employees and the family members who have always worked together with Mr. Armani, commit themselves to protecting what he has built and to carry his company in his memory, with respect, responsibility and love.”

Armani was honored last week at the Film Festival of Venice with the launch of Armani/ArchivioA digital archive that is designed to recognize and expand the influence of his brand.
According to reports, the platform offers “unprecedented access to five decades of fashion history-included catwalk collections, advertising campaigns, red launch moments and intimate images behind the scenes.”
A physical space with the archive is also open just outside Milan.
A public museum in the Italian city is planned on 24 September to organize the very first art exhibition of Armani, entitled entitled Armani/Casa BreraAnd with 150 classic and historic Armani outfits.
A release teases: “By placing fashion in addition to visual arts, the show offers a deeper insight into the visual language of Armani – its lifelong dedication to form, ratio and timeless beauty.”
