Ghislaine Maxwell moved to the prison of Texas after speaking with FBI

In another daring move, Maxwell has raised the Ante about what she is willing to testify about when she is facing members of the House Oversight Committee on 11 August, making it clear that she wants immunity through further prosecution.

Her legal team sent the chairman of the committee, James Comer, a letter on Tuesday July 29, and said that she is now open to cooperation “as a fair and safe way can be determined ahead.”

Maxwell wants the committee to give questions in advance, because “surprise questions would be both inappropriate and unproductive.”

She also asked that the interrogation took place “after the solution of her petition from the Supreme Court and her upcoming Habeas -Petition.”

Her legal team warned that if these requirements were not met, “Maxwell will have no other choice than to call up her fifth amendment rights” against self -accusation.

Although Maxwell wants immunity, that is something that the congress is not willing to surrender.

A spokeswoman for the supervisory committee spotted after receiving the requirements: “The supervisory committee will soon respond to Mrs. Maxwell’s lawyer, but it will not consider giving congress immunity for her testimony.”
