George Clooney gets French citizenship amid fears of raising children in LA.

Clooney, wife Amal and eight-year-old twins Ella and Alexander moved to their sprawling $11 million wine estate in Provence, France, to escape the “culture of Hollywood.”
The Ocean’s Eleven star previously shared Esquire he worried about raising his children in Los Angeles: “I felt like they would never get a fair chance in life.” (In) France – they don’t care about fame.
“I don’t want them to worry about paparazzi. I don’t want them to be compared to someone else’s famous kids.”
In addition to his family home in France, the Clooneys also own an estate in England, a villa on Lake Como in Italy and another property near his family in Kentucky — all in an effort, he said, to give his children a normal childhood.
“We are very lucky,” the star said of life on the farm. “A lot of my life growing up was on a farm, and as a kid I hated the whole idea of it. But now for them it’s like they’re not on their iPads, you know? They eat with adults and have to take their dishes with them. They have a much better life.”
In addition to being above Hollywood, the actor has been very vocal about his distaste for President Trump after he was re-elected in November 2024.
