GenlayerA startup building decentralized legal infrastructure for AI and Machine agents, has launched its first stimulated test network, called ASIMOV.
This marks the first rollout of his multi-phase validator onboarding and technology-validation initiative as the company gets closer to the implementation of Mainstet.
The test network introduces what Genlayer calls the first intelligent blockchain, powered by AI models and designed to resolve subjective decisions that typically dissolve out of the reach of traditional deterministic blockchains.

Combining the best of blockchain and AI
ASIMOV is the first of three sequential test nets in the route map of Genlaerer, followed by Bradbury and Clark.
The company gradually wants to test and scales its “optimistic democracy” consensus mechanism. In contrast to conventional blockchain validators who simply perform code, GenLayer validators are accompanied by large language models (LLMS), so that they can evaluate off-chain data and make subjective decisions-as the determination or submitted content is reasonably fulfilled to the conditions of a smart contract.
Genlayer positions this model as an essential infrastructure for the coming age of AI agents and machine-to-machine transactions.
According to Castellana, the launch of ASIMOV is both a stress test and a signal of technical maturity for developers and partners.
Professional validators and ecosystem of developers
The Validator program for ASIMOV focuses on seasoned blockchain infrastructure operators. Selected participants earn rewards for testing consensus logic, transaction handling and model coordination. Genlayer already has dozens of validators on board, with more in the pipeline. Participation requires a full -time commitment during test phases.
To support builders, Genlayer releases an extensive developer pile, including the Genlaer Studio, Wallet, Blockchain Explorer and GS Library (a Python Toolkit). The test network is also linked to a subsidy program to encourage early development and experiments prior to the launch of the Mantet.
Rally
Co -coinciding with ASIMOV is the Beta release of Rally, a decentralized marketing protocol that automates the campaigns for influencer and community incentives. With the help of AI-driven validators, Rally evaluates submitted content-such as messages on social media against campaign rules embedded in smart contracts.
“Rally is our first protocol built on Genlayer,” Castellana told Venturebeat. “It evaluates content created by the community autonomously and determines compensation, opening participation that goes beyond influencers for everyone.”
Brands define guidelines (eg hashtags, tone, originality), deposit funds and let the protocol autonomously determine the payments.
This setup avoids manual negotiating and performance peels that are common in traditional influencer programs. Content makers in turn receive transparent, on-chain compensation if their submissions meet the pre-set criteria.
“In the future, many influencers will be AI agents who are looking for opportunities to earn – This system can accommodate that evolution,” Castellana added.
Rally works independently of the core team of Genlayer and will eventually be governed by a DAO. From each campaign pool, 1% goes to the Rally DAO, while 10% of the protocol costs are assigned to the developers of participating applications.
“The way I see Genlayer is like a toy factory – creating new tools and mechanisms that you can’t find anywhere else,” the CEO added. “Rally is just an example of what is possible.”
