Gary Oldman investigates terror plots

Gary Oldman is back in the saddle in season 5 of “Slow Horses”, premiered on Apple TV+ on 24 September.
The fifth season of six episodes follows Oldman’s Jackson Lamb and his team of misfits speech while they investigate a series of bizarre events and terror plots in London and how it can all be connected to Roddy Hos (Christopher Chung) Glamoure new girlfriend.
Season 5 of “Slow Horses” has been adapted from “London Rules”, the next novel in the award -winning “Slough House” book series by Mick Herron. One episode will premiere every week on the streamer until the season finale is broadcast on 29 October.
In addition to Oldman and Chung stars “Slow Horses” Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Aimee-Fion Edwards, Ruth Bradley, James Callis, Tom Brooke and Jonathan Pryce. “Ted Lasso’s” Nick Mohammed also joins himself as a host.
“Slow Horses” has become an Emmy magnet in recent years and achieved nine nominations for season 3 (and one win) and five nods in season 4. The series has already been renewed for seasons 6 and 7.
The show is produced by See-Saw films and adapted for television by Will Smith, the Emmy-winning maker who recently announced his exit from the series after season 5. Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Smith and Graham Yost Serve as executive producers. Director Saul Metzstein, nominated for an Emmy for his work in season 3, returns to helmet season 5.
