Garth Brooks‘rape prosecutor reportedly feared the country’s superstar would hire a hitman to kill her.
RadarOnline.com can reveal the singer’s former hairstylist, who filed a lawsuit against Brooks, 62, under the pseudonym “Joan Roe,” claiming she was crippled with fear he would have her killed in the wake of her claims of sexual abuse.

The revelation was unearthed in court documents Brooks filed with his accuser – a former associate of his wife Trisha Jaarwood – launched her own lawsuit, accusing him of sexually harassing her multiple times and of a rape in 2019.
In his lawsuit, Brooks’ attorney revealed that “Jane” “had also asserted a belief that” he “intended to hire someone to kill her.”

Brooks filed his complaint against his former employee in September under the pseudonym John Roe.
He begged a federal court judge to prevent the hairstylist from suing him with “false accusations.”
According to Confessthe woman caused him “emotional distress, including fear and anxiety for himself and his family” with her threats to “wrongfully assassinate” his character “by publicly making such abhorrent and untrue accusations.”

The country singer recalled receiving a letter from his ex-employee’s attorney on July 17, accusing him of a “litany of sexual misconduct,” including allegations of sexual “grooming” and assault, along with fears of an assassin.
Confess released a fierce statement last week pleading his innocence, claiming he had been “endlessly harassed with threats, lies and tragic stories about what my future would be if I didn’t write a multi-million dollar check.”

He claimed the harassment had been going on for the past two months, adding: “It was like waving a loaded gun in my face. Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money. In my mind, that means I’m admitting to behavior that I’m not capable of.
‘Ugly acts that no human should ever do to another.

“We filed suit against this individual almost a month ago to speak out against extortion and defamation of character.
“We submitted it anonymously, in the interest of the families on both sides.”

She revealed that Brooks would remain missing for “five or six days” because he was having affairs with other women.
Mahl – who was married to Brooks between 1986 and 1999 – said: “Garth has always been a very sexual person.

“It was his ego that proved he could look outward, point and conquer.”
At one point she told him to stop cheating or she would leave him.
Mahl added: “I told him my bags were packed, a plane ticket was bought and I was gone.”
