Traveling to Augusta, Georgia, to watch the pros or visiting the birthplace of golf in Scotland is easy with American Airlines. The airline is offering customers convenient schedules and new premium service on the flights golfers need to reach the first tee.

An important travel experience to Edinburgh
Packed with golf fans and festive customers, American flew its first international flight of its Airbus A321XLR between New York (JFK) and Edinburgh, Scotland (EDI) on March 8. American is the first US airline to introduce the A321XLR, operating the versatile aircraft on its transcontinental routes and to and from Scotland’s capital.

With 20 luxurious Flagship Suite® seats, a dozen relaxing Premium Economy seats and 123 redesigned Main Cabin seats, the aircraft offers customers a refined premium transatlantic journey, complete with high-speed Wi-Fi and complimentary seatback entertainment with Bluetooth connectivity.

More flights to the pines of Augusta
For golfers and golf enthusiasts who want to see who tops the leaderboard, American will offer the most flights and the most seats of any airline to Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) between April 5 and 13. American’s schedule for the first wave of the year is 6% larger than last year, with up to 23 round trips per day.

American is the only airline to offer travelers nonstop service to Augusta from Charlotte, North Carolina; Dallas-Fort Worth; Miami; Chicago; Philadelphia; and Phoenix, which offer the most convenient schedules for the tournament, including for customers connecting from across the US
