Taylor Sheridan‘S Husbandman introduced Cheyenne as a stripper and physical therapist Sam Elliott‘s character – but who is an actress Francesca Xuereb?
Sheridan started out as an actor before switching focus to writing for the small screen, which paved the way Yellowstone‘s success. The hit series, which aired from 2018 to 2024, expanded the universe with spinoffs like 1883 and 1923, as well as the upcoming series The Dutton Ranch, the Madison And Marshals.
Sheridan has also worked on original shows Mayor of Kingstown, Leeuwin, Tulsa King And Husbandman. Inspired by the podcast series ‘Boomtown’, Husbandman is focused on the oil industry in West Texas, with a specific focus on crisis manager Tommy Norris and his family.
Husbandman introduced Billy Bob Thornton as the corporate fixer who works for an oil titan (Jon Hamm) while delivering on the promise of plot twists. The season finale killed off Hamm’s Monty as Tommy was named president of M-Tex before being kidnapped – and severely beaten – by a drug cartel leader. Tommy is eventually released with the promise that he will work with the cartel.
Season 2 upped the stakes by shaking up the story Demi Moore‘s Cami added even more to the mix. Elsewhere in the performance Ali Larter’is Angela, Jacob Lofland‘s Kuiper, Michelle Randolph‘s Ainsley and more are at the center of their own drama.
Xuereb, meanwhile, appeared at the end of the second season as a stripped-down Tommy hired to help his father, TL (Elliott), who was suffering from multiple health issues. The duo bonded over aquatic therapy and emotional conversations with a touch of unexpected chemistry.

Paramount+s Husbandman It is the first time that Xuereb has worked with Sheridan. The prolific screenwriter has worked several times with various actors including James Jordan:, Barry Corbin, Graham Greene and more.

What did Francesca Xuereb share about her acting journey?
Xuereb had a job while acting, but in 2023 she quit her job as a waitress. According to an interview with The New York Times, Xuereb was forced to return after the SAG-AFTRA and Writers Guild of America strikes.
“It definitely felt like slowing down, and that doesn’t necessarily feel good,” she told the outlet. “I don’t mind working in the restaurant.”
