‘Foundation’ renewed for season 4 for season 3 final
Apple TV+ has renewed the sci-fi epic “foundation” for season 4, Variety has learned.
The news of the renewal comes one day before the final of the third season, which falls on Apple TV+ on 12 September. The logline for the final states: “Gaal and the second foundation take the flight to the mule while the emperor’s legacy suffers a catastrophic blow.”
“There is no series such as ‘Foundation’ and we feel happy and honored to bring the torch forward as co-show runners in season four,” said Co-Showrunners and executive producers Ian Goldberg and David Kob. “We look forward to continuing the epic, emotional story that defined the first three seasons of the show, and to collaborate with some of the most talented, passionate creative partners in the industry.”

“Foundation” is produced for Apple by Paramount Television Studios. Ian Goldberg and David Kob serve as co-show runners and executive producers for season four alongside Bill Bost, Pace, Michael Satrazemis, Robyn Asimov and David S. Goyer.
