Former NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya Shades Bad Bunny Halftime Show

Former NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya made it clear she wasn’t interested Bad bunny‘S Super Bowl half-time show.

While watching the showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots on Sunday, February 8, Tafoya, 61, revealed the unexpected activity she was planning midway through the biggest football game of the year.

“At halftime tonight I’m going to do something I’ve never done before: fold laundry. #SuperBowl,” she wrote via X on Sunday.

When a follower wondered if she’s really “never folded laundry before,” the former Sunday night football reporter clarified her initial message.

“I am going to restructure my sentence,” she said in one separate X after. “Tonight I’m going to do something I’ve never done before at halftime of a Super Bowl: fold laundry.”

Although it’s unclear if she chose a different music option – maybe Turning Point USA’s all-American halftime show — at halftime, there’s little doubt that Tafoya missed Bad Bunny’s star-studded performance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

During his set, Bad Bunny, 31, came out special guests included Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Carol G, Alex Earle And Cardi B.

The joyful and energetic affair also celebrated the island of Puerto Rico where he was born and his place in the American story.

Although the performance received some harsh reviews from some critics, such as President Donald Trumpan estimated 125 million people tuned in to the actual broadcast on NBC.

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst EVER!” Trump, 71, posted to Truth Social just minutes after the show ended. “It makes no sense, is an insult to the greatness of America and does not represent our standards of success, creativity or excellence. No one understands a word this man says, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children watching from all over the US and around the world.”

Aside from the performances, Tafoya — who is running for the United States Senate in Minnesota — couldn’t help but share her thoughts on the actual football game. (Tafoya was a longtime reporter who previously worked for NBC Sports and currently hosts a podcast.)

“Think @seahawks gambler Michael Dickson should be @SuperBowl MVP,” she wrote via X after the athlete punted seven times for 335 yards with an average of 47.9 yards per punt.

After the Seattle Seahawks won the game, defeating the New England Patriots in a 29-13 victory, running back Kenneth Walker III was ultimately named Super Bowl MVP.

“Super Bowl Champs,” Walker, 25, wrote via Instagram after the game. “That bastard is looking forward to it💍.”

Even though football season is over, sports fans still have a lot to watch and look forward to. In addition to NBA All-Star Weekend kicking off on February 13 in Los Angeles, the 2026 Winter Olympics are currently airing on NBC’s networks.

After Super Bowl LX concluded on Sunday, Tafoya and her Mini Labradoodle tuned in to support the Team USA figure skating team.

“Did I mention my dog watches TV?” she wrote via X on Sunday.
